This book presents a collection of poems that celebrates the accomplishments of several Hispanic figures that come from different backgrounds and from different countries.

Engle and Lopez created an amazing book where the text and illustrations work together in unison to celebrate the contributions of different Hispanics. The vivid and colorful illustrations were created using a combination of acrylic on wood, pen and ink, watercolor, construction paper, and Adobe Photoshop. This is a great resource to use for cultural awareness.
