This book is a graphic novel memoir of Cece Bell, as a rabbit character, that portrays her journey in life and her experiences as a deaf person. At a very young age, Cece lost her hearing due to meningitis. She struggled to fit in until she finally accepted her disability and embraced her hearing aid. She learns to discover her identity and focuses on finding a true friend.


Bell incorporated vivid illustrations with bright colors that captivate the reader’s attention. The structure and sequence of the novel is easy to follow and facilitates the reader’s comprehension.
