Summary:
Joseph the farmer had an old overcoat which he continued to upcycle. It first became a jacket, then a vest, then a scarf, then a tie, into a handkerchief until eventually it was a button. One day he lost it, and was left with nothing. But then he wrote a book about it, and made something out of nothing.
Taback incorporated gorgeous pictures that helped narrate the story. Additionally, the illustrations captivated the essence of the protagonist and his view about reusing his coat. The story conveys the value of conservation. This book could be used for the reader's theater.
